Areas of Practice

The purpose of personal injury law is to provide financial compensation to the victims of negligence, recklessness or intentional acts including people injured in auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice and negligence, slip & falls, dog bites, wrongful death and assault and battery. Klein & Babbitt, LLC represents people who were injured because of the actions of others. We do not defend cases for insurance companies. Please call to discuss your matter with our attorneys.
If you’ve been injured in a car accident you are entitled to seek damages from the person/persons who have caused the motor vehicle accident. In order to prevail in your claim, you must be able to prove that another was negligent in their operation of their vehicle, that the negligence was the cause of your injuries and that you have suffered injuries. Connecticut allows that an injured person is entitled to “fair, just and reasonable” compensation for damages, including past medical expenses, future medical expenses, pain and suffering, past lost wages, future lost wages, scarring caused from the injury as well as for a permanent or partial disability. If you or a loved one has been injured in a motor vehicle accident, please call to speak with one of our attorneys.
Attorney Klein and Attorney Babbitt have handled many cases involving slip and falls. One may recover for personal injuries when the owner or possessor of a property has been negligent in failing to warn persons of or failing to correct a dangerous or defective condition. Determining fault in a slip and fall matter can be complicated. Fault is determined by weighing the property owner’s duty to keep the property free of defects against the pedestrian’s duty to watch where they are going. Please call to discuss your slip and fall matter with an attorney. Klein & Babbitt, LLC offers a free initial consultation. A few examples of slip and fall cases that Klein & Babbitt, LLC have pursued are: Falling on icy step at a business two days after a storm; Slipping and falling in water at a store; Falling over an impediment at a business; Falling in a hole in a brick walk-way; Falling down stairs in a rental unit; Falling on loose gravel (pavement) and sand at a condominium complex.
Connecticut has a “dog bite” statute. It provides that the owner or keeper of a dog is responsible for injuries and damages caused by the dog as long as the injured person was not teasing, tormenting or abusing the dog or trespassing at the time of the injury. If you have suffered injuries as a result of a dog bite, please call Klein & Babbitt, LLC to discuss your case.

test blurb

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
